Fine paper straw hat body with a plastic wired edge. Hat will fit up to 22.5 inches and has an adjustable sweatband inside to customize fit. The brim is 7.5 inches wide. The shape is not very floppy. It does have a slight derby swoop. It is not stiff but it holds its shape well
